ABOUT US

BRYANT NEAL

“Owns 17 iPods”

Hi! I’m Bryant, and I’ve been hooked on cameras and storytelling since 2015, when I first picked one up. It started as photography for fun, then evolved into shooting weddings on the side. But I always felt like still photos limited my ability to tell the full story, so I made the switch to filming and I’ve never looked back.

Originally from the Southern Tier, I’ve since found a deep love for Kodak and everything Rochester, NY has to offer. It’s no surprise I’m always chasing that nostalgic home movie vibe, constantly searching for the next camera or vintage medium (though Jess usually tries to snag them first!). While I’m the tech-savvy one behind the scenes, always playing with the latest (and oldest) gadgets, I’m also the one cracking jokes and jumping into bushes to capture the perfect shot on your big day.

Nightfox Films has now evolved into Wedding Films by Jess & Bry, where we bring balance and intentional storytelling like no one else can. What began as a small passion project has grown into something we’re both excited to continue—creating unique stories for every couple, one wedding at a time!

Bucket List: I want to film an elopement some where secluded and remote in the ADKS with our Land Cruiser!

JESSICA OLSON

“Super 8 Thief/Coffee Aficionado”

Hi! I’m Jess. I honestly can’t remember a time in my life without cameras. My grandparents kept me stocked with disposable cameras and upgraded my point-and-shoots every Christmas (shh, it was a secret from my cousins). They even got me my first DSLR—though that one was a surprise to my grandma too. Thanks, grandpa!

I’m originally from Minnesota, though apparently you won’t notice my accent until I actually say “Minnesota”! Bryant and I connected on Instagram through our mutual love of exploring and documenting abandoned buildings. When he asked me to move here and start filming weddings with him, I couldn’t resist. Our dream is to eventually settle down in an 1800s homestead, where the first order of business will definitely be honey bees!

I’ll admit, when Bryant first suggested filming a wedding on Super 8, I thought he was a little crazy. I never expected to completely fall in love with it. I may have taken over Super 8 from him, but let’s be honest—it’s for the best, because we both agree I do it best! What began as Bryant filming cinematic weddings has evolved into us creating home movie vibes that feel instantly nostalgic, no matter the medium.

Bucket List: I’d love to film a proposal on Super 8, especially if it’s in the mountains or surrounded by wildflowers.
